So, here we are again at the start of a new term. This year we have nine fabulous year 13 students studying MIA, and two fantastic year 14s, I wish them you all the best for the coming year.
So far the year 13s have been learning a little about the history of film, we have just completed a case study on the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and are working at cutting out first film. Everyone seems to be getting to grips with using the macs which is great, remember you are more than welcome to use my room when you are free or after school.
Year 14s have started the year studying Orsen Welles' Citizen Kane, 'the best movie ever made' according to many. Their practical work sees them starting the term by storyboarding their own 'News on the March', looking forward to seeing those on Friday.

i managed to get the korean subtitiles off 'cabinet of Dr.Calgari'I watched it a second time and the music was a melt out!!!!

LOl i dont know what to say... em i love that picture of all of us, yes i did also eatch it the second time, still "FRYS MY HEAD" yea miss u'll know what i'm talking about. Well the class is great all 8 of them are lovely.
so ya ill go, i hate these type of conversations. Really enjoying the subject so far...made great friends in the class!!!!!

i thought the film was alright but the as micheal said the music was meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelt it's a fun class tho an making our own movie will be sweet

Honestly, i didnt really like the film, it was to expressionist/old/not very good for my liking :) and it was black and white and the music hurt my head...
I'm also looking forward to making our own movies like louis said and - love the class, everyone in it is dead on... and im just beginning to waffle on now, so i'll do one!
i dont care what any1 says, i thought that movie was pretty cool... besides it being in black and white.
